Winterton Agricultural Society - Est. 1872

The Winterton Agricultural Show is a fun filled weekend for all ages. In addition to the numerous agricultural displays and events there are the ever popular floristry and enterprise marquees as well as local crafts and a huge photographic display of Winterton and the surrounding villages. Local historians Steve and Malcolm Stubbins are onsite to share information and stories about the history of the town and the local area.

Trade Stand

Throughout the weekend there is a large range of trade stands selling items from homemade food and crafts to children’s toys and clothing.

Food and drink are supplied at reasonable prices by the various outlets including the Winterton Lions who serve afternoon teas. A licensed bar also provides soft drinks and alcoholic beverages across the two days.

A mixture of modern and traditional fairground games and rides are a large part of the show during both days and also throughout the evenings. Side shows incorporating Puppet Shows, Dancing, Majorettes, Punch & Judy and Wrestling, to name a few, take place at various times throughout the show.

The committee continue to build upon a very successful long standing event and welcome any comments which you wish them to consider for future events.
